Rated as one of the highly competitive exams in the country, Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) tests the understanding of core concepts in undergraduate subjects in engineering in a comprehensive manner. A good score in GATE opens up a myriad of career avenues for engineering graduates, including research fellowship, admission to higher education courses in leading institutes in the country, employment screening purposes conducted by Public & Private Sector Undertakings, etc.
However, extensive syllabus coverage, negative marking and intense competition make GATE one of the toughest examinations in India at graduate level. Although, there is no limit in the number of attempts in GATE, a failure attempt means, loss of one year of life and career.
