IBPS CWE RRB VI – Recruitment of Office Scale-I,

IBPS authority has scheduled IBPS RRBs (Regional Rural Bank) Exam in September month. The eligibility for the examination is that any graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent. The candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy; must have proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRBs. Also, the Knowledge of Computer skills is desirable.

The Common Recruitment Process (CRP) of IBPS RRB Officer Scale-I comprises of online examination (Preliminary Exam and Mains Exam) followed by Interview. The selection for this exam is based on the interview result. Also, provisional allotment for this post shall be done as per candidates rank in the merit list and number of vacancies reported by 56 participating Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). 

IBPS RRB CWE-VI has Preliminary Exam and Mains Exam.

The Preliminary Examination consists of 40 ques. each in two sections i.e. Reasoning and Numerical Ability. Each question of 1 mark and total marks for both the sections are 80. The time allotted to complete the test is 45 minutes. The Reasoning section mainly includes questions from the topics such as seating arrangement, tabulation and matrix. The Numerical Ability section majorly includes questions from approximation, data interpretation and series.  

The total number of questions in Mains Examination is 200 which are equally divided in 5 sections (40 questions in each). Reasoning and numerical ability are of 50 marks each; General Awareness and English / Hindi Language are for 40 marks each; and Computer knowledge for 20 marks. The time allotted to complete the test is 2 hours. The Reasoning section includes topics such as seating arrangement, syllogism, coding decoding, and Puzzle. The section related to numerical ability includes questions from topics such as data interpretation, permutation, combination & probability, number systems and so on. The General Awareness section includes questions related to current affairs, banking awareness, history, polity, economy and so on. The Language section will include reading comprehension, cloze test, para-jumbles and so on. In case of section related to Computer, one must be awareness about the evolution of computers and internet, operating systems and abbreviations related to Computers.   

 

According to official records, 8.19 lakh candidates registered for RRBs Officer Scale-I exam in 2015-16. 6.52 lakh candidates actually appeared for the RRBs Officer Scale-I exam in 2015-16.
