About the Exam
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts the online examination (Preliminary and Main) for the selection of personnel for probationary officer posts in the participating organisations. The exam for the next common recruitment process is tentatively scheduled in October/November 2018. Eligible candidates who aspire to join as a Probationary Officer in any of the participating organisations are required to register for the Common Recruitment Process. The online exam is divided into two parts namely Preliminary and Main.
Candidates who will qualify in the Online Preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for the Online Main examination and shortlisted candidates in the Online Main examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be conducted by the participating organisations and co-ordinated by the Nodal Bank. Tips to Score Better
- Attempt only those questions you are sure of as there is penalty for wrong answers (one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted)
- Do not mark the answer if you are not sure as there is no penalty for the question left blank
- Answer questions quickly but not in panic

- Spare out some time to recheck the answers chosen by you in each section
